Reviews

5.0 Great entry level mixer
I purchased this to take my music recording to another level.

I hooked my UB802 to my PC via the Line In socket on my soundcard. My MXL 990 Cardioid Condenser Mic and my keyboard are plugged into the mixer and I'm getting some great results.

The manual is small but is enough to get you started. It doesn't bog you down with too much technical jargon and gives you a chance to get stuck in right away.

If you are new to mixers and want to play around with PC digital recording or other mixing forms, then this is a great product to learn with.

Highly recommended for beginners.

5.0 Great Little Mixer
I bought this mixer about 6 months ago basically because I needed some phantom power to power my condenser mic ( Behringer B1) and it cost about the same as any other phantom power supply.... I found this to be incredibly useful... mostly recording by myself I found it to be useful in setting up seperate micings and then mixing them before recording.... with 2 mic inputs and a direct line in on my acoustic guitar, I can get a great sound out of it.... if you are planning on doing more than one person at a time.... I would go with something with more channels but for someone who just enjoys recording whole CDs by themselves but still wants them to sound good.... this is a great option.....
5.0 Great Mixer, Great Price
Don't let the size or the price fool you. The Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer is a clean and feature filled mixer. I use it with my laptop to do voice work while on the road and have been truly impressed. The quality of the sound is very solid and the pre-amp is very smooth. It allows me to do return/send to hear playback and record at the same time and the EQ's give me the control to bump up the tone when needed. The headphone level is loud enough to hear the mix. I mean...good grief. At this price it's worth that just as a backup! But, it would make a great mixer for anyone with minimal input needs. Of course, if you're doing a multi-mic studio session, then you'd need to go up to another model with more XLR inputs. The key is that it sounds great.

It does not have a power On/Off switch but that isn't a problem for me. Plus, the VU lights are minimal if you depend on that to set levels. But, in my mind, Behringer put the money in what was important. Small size, great features, solid smooth pre-amp and flexibility in setup.
5.0 Great Quality, Low Price
Why buy a Mackie? Behringer makes GREAT products at a VERY reasonable price. I have two Behringer mixers, the UB802 and a 1604 and I'm extremely happy with both.

I use the 802 as a mixer between my computers to a single set of speakers and have enough inputs to plug in my guitar as well. The 802 is also very quiet. If you need a simple mixer for a great price, the 802 is it.
