I give the Item 4 stars for quality of construction and sound. And deduct a start for cost.
I do mostly field recording and the pre-amps and ADC's is top notch! The pre-amps are silent even at high gain levels. The Soft limit comes in handy during unexpected loud moments in a live recording. Overall a very nice piece of equiptment.
However, I give Full Compass Systems 1 star for misleading and decptive advertising. This model does NOT have a USB port. Their web site also advertises a usb port for this model. [...]
To actually get a mini-me with a USB port it is $595 more.
