a great helpi bought this for my eleven year old daughter who has trouble hearing BUT does not "qualify" for a hearing aid. she mostly needed it to hear her riding instructor. it works. oh yes, it does. it's amazing! my mom is going to get one for herself after trying this one. the only thing i wish it had was like an elastic band, like a sports band, or the bands that come with the jogger's radios. we had to rig one up on our own for my daughter. no big deal though. great product for the price.
Reduce your accent by listening to how you sound.I have been looking for a device that would help me reduce my accent by listening to how I sound. I did some search on the internet for such devices and found several devices, but none of them were affordable and all of them came with the features that I really didnt want. All I wanted was a simple sound amplifier. Even the simplest one started from $99. Being an engineer I know that a simple amplifier could be constructed for less than $10.
I did some more search and Audio-EX poped up in google search. I was very reluctant to buy this device because it was so inexpensive compared to other sound amplifiers, but I bought it anyway. The shipment arrived and I opened the box and installed the batteries, plugged in the headset and started talking. To my amazement the amplifier was so good and so clear that I could hear myself very well even at low volume. I cranked up the volume to see how loud it gets and it gets pretty loud for a device so inexpensive. It also has sound equalizer that works equally well.
The box came with a mobile style earplug and mic, a regular headset and a neck chord if you want to hang it instead of clip it. The weight of the unit is unnoticeable. All in all this is a great product and I really like it. Worth every penny.
