Garmin UserI use four different Garmin GPS units, but the one that is of particular interest here is the Legend. The legend comes with a serial interface cable. The problem comes with the fact that I now use a laptop with no serial port for most of my GPS mapping purposes. Garmin does not provide a specific cable for linking the Legend to USB, and Garmin's USB-serial costs around 60 bucks. This cable does the trick quite nicely, but it is NOT plug and play. The software to run this does need to be installed, but the results are most satisfactory once installed.
Works as expectedThis product works perfectly. Installing the drivers was a breeze and I have not had any issues yet. One can't ask for any more.
