Nice to have.I bought this USB printer cable in order get rid of my parallel cable of my old printer. This USB cable works perfectly when I connect it to the printer and then to the computer. But when I tried to put it on the network (using my DI-704UP), the built-in print server in the router detects the printer but never prints. I have tried to resolve that but until now I have not been successful. I don't think the problem is with the cable. Overall I recommend this product.
