Best Little Bass Amp in Texas (or anywhere else)I just got mine last Friday and spent all weekend playing. The great thing about it is that I can lug it anywhere in the house that I feel like playing. All that wouldn't matter though if the thing didn't sound great. It is not an earthmover by itself, so forget that, but it is much more than I ever expected out of such a little package. I particularly like the output options that allow a second bass amp to be used with the stereo chorus. I hooked it up with my Bassman 60(TM) and THAT is an earthmoving combo. The chorus is just a monster. It opens up the sound without weakening it in any way. There are a lot of times that I wouldn't consider using chorus because of the punch surrendered, but this chorus is useful in more situations than anything I've tried before.
My sole quality knock and it is under investigation is that the top heat sink looked like swiss cheese with drill holes. This is an expensive little unit and I could not find one to try in any store, so I bought mine online. GK does not seem to be putting much marketing muscle behind this amp, but I'm happy with what I got.
