Exceeds expectations.You wouldn't expect much from a guitar this inexpensive, so you might be pleasantly surprised by the quality of this instrument. The finish is a little uneven in spots, mine came with sooty, funky strings that needed immediate replacement, the frets are not highly polished, and the fret ends feel pretty rough, but it gives the tone of a more expensive instrument and plays easily. If you're toying with the idea of learning to play slide or slack-key and want an inexpensive instrument to start out on, I think you'll be pleased with this one. It'll take you pretty far for just a little cash.
