excellent tubaThe meinl weston 4/4 is an excellent all around tuba. It has a nice sound and is at home in a wide variety of playing situations. Fourth partial seems to be high on everyone i've played and the hand position with the thumb sitting so low takes some getting used to. The finish is nice when new but the laquer starts to develop spots on some of them. Other than that I really enjoy playing this model.
Also, I am surprised that Amazon would allow the review by Steven Cavins which one of the most useless and stupid reviews I've ever read. I don't know if he is trying to be funny or not, but some people take these review seriously. Save the bad jokes for someone else and leave the reviewing to real musicians.
