This is a beautiful 4 Valve Piccolo Trumpet comes complete with mouthpiece and hardcase. It is made of fine quality brass with chrome polished . Primary dimensions are 12 inches length and 3 ¾ inches diameter bell. Slide adjusters for tone variation are provided at first and fourth valves. Great conversation piece, impossible to play............I bought this horn for my son. I had always wanted to have one myself. We received the horn in great shape. It took us 30 minutes to unpack the horn. The valves are horrible. They need some major lubrication & smoothing. I know it was 90 bucks. So I guess we can say we have one, and that's about it. We are going to play around with it, maybe make some modifications, re-bore. Don't buy this horn to play music on, use it for a novelty.......
you have been warned...There is an old expression, "you pays your money and you takes your chances". Well.... This is truly a ninety dollar instrument. My guess is that these horns were made as a class project in "Intro to Metallurgy 101" class in Calcutta. My friend bought one on a dare, and it is the worst horn I've ever tried. I've heard nicer sounding kazoos. More in tune as well. The valves are sluggish, and the overall craftsmanship is as amateurish as we've ever seen. If you're looking for a cheap instrument that is difficult to play and sounds like it is, this is the horn for you.
