SGI just perchased this guitar for $500, and it was one of the best desicions I have ever made, but if you are prepared to spend 1300 dollars on an Epiphone, I would spend the extra $300 and get a Gibson, but if you find it between 500-900 dollars, buy the Epiphone, it sounds the same as the Gibson, but I wouldn-t spend over $1000 on an Epiphone when the Gibson has a higher resale value and better paint job.
