have you ever heard of a guitar company called ION?!i bought this guitar and i was very happy with it as i knew nothing about guitars, i then compared this to other guitars like fender, gibson and ibanez and i was shocked. I have been playing guitar for 3 years now and i am now a proud owner of a gibson les paul. This guitar has no tone, it doesn't give you the feel other guitars give you. The pickups are lifeless, the tone and volume controls get wobbly after a few touches and the 5-way selector feels cheap. The amp is ok for starters but the lead that comes with it makes a horrible buzzing sound which gets higher when you put on distortion and turn the volume up, so aslong as you buy a new cable the amp should be ok.
If you really want a guitar worth your money at this price then go for a fender squier strat which has just about everything this pack has but the guitar and amp are so much better, even if the amp is 10-WATT on the fender and its 15-WATT on the ion version, the fender sounds so much more lively
