A really great bass.I have been playing a schecter elite for about 3 years now - after 30 years experience in playing guitar and bass. This is a great bass all around. Very well made, excellent playability, excellent sound. Other musicians who pick up my bass are just amazed. In my last band we had two bass players - and he kept playing my bass. It is just a bass you want to play - such a great feel. The nano web strings are part of the feel, but that does not take anything away from the bass. I absolutely think this is the best bass around for under $1000, and better than a lot basses for more than that. This bass is highly playable, great sound, fantastic action, superior neck and body design, first rate hardware, and great finish. What don't I like - nothing about the bass - I don't much like the Schecter website. Schecter is not a name that widely known - so if name recognition is important to you, that would be one reason not to buy. But if this is in your price range, I recommend this bass with no reservations.
