It's beautifully made and has that characteristic low growl for which Warwicks are famous. As with all Warwicks, it features premium tonewoods throughout: a bubinga body and 3-piece ovangkol neck with wenge fingerboard. This is a passive bass with a traditional tone and incredible punch. Warwick CorvetteThis is great bass! Has very warm punchy tone throughout. Highs cut through mix depending on your preamp/eq settings. Has a very balanced output from bottom of neck to top. Very thick mids with great sustain 8 - 14 on the e string. I would definatley recomend going with the five string before the four string. As a gigging bassist, you can always use that extra B! I am also a big fan of passive pickups like the Corvette uses. Then you play the bass, not vice versa. It gives you an honest sound-feel ratio. The bag included sucks. It will fall apart within six months. Plan on buying a new case. I recomend Summit cases!
