Product Description
The Legend 16/17 model Plays in the keys of "A", "D", "G", "C", "F" and "E", the key of "C" if fully chromatic. A larger size and the addition of contra "D" and "A" notes give this dulcimer a big bass sound. We use all solid woods (Mahogany soundboard and back, Walnut frame rails and Maple pin blocks). Our unique arched construction method produces great volume and enhanced tone. Cordovan stain is used on the soundboard for easier string vision. A black lacquer soundboard is available an additional charge. One inch bridge spacing is standard. The Dulcimer includes deluxe double headed (leather and wood) hammers, a deluxe T handle tuning wrench, owners manual and instruction book/cd (Tunes for the Hammered Dulcimer). Its a great sounding instrument and weighs just 15 lbs.Reviews
Magnificent Instrument!I own a Legend 16/17 Hammered Dulcimer. I'm lucky.
The sonority is wonderful. The low register is outstanding, and allows you to expand your playing into lower registers with it's extra notes. The middle register is clean and beautiful. The upper notes sing.
This instrument can be a great friend, it will understand your moods. It will play with you, too.
