Product Description
The Sioux drum is made from a whole log or pine frame, with natural skin heads and rawhide lacing. The drum has played an inherent role in the lives of Native Americans for centuries; historically, Native American hand drums were an essential part of spiritual ceremonies for vision, power, celebration, and healing. Taos drums are crafted in the tradition of the Pueblo Indians; natural materials and renewable resources are used. The drum frames are created from wood native to Northern New Mexico. The manageable size of this drum makes it a popular choice.
