Better than the kids stuff!It is really my fault for getting the size wrong (as I am still metric), but I am very happy with it. I am not too sure it is a very high quality, but for this price and for being a real instrument, it is a great deal!

Cheap....It's about as good as you'd expect for the price you're paying. The tone is a little thin, but it seems sturdy enough, and will work for my purposes - tapping the beat for people learning medieval dance.
Great value! Great sound! Sturdy!I bought this for my kids age 2 and 4. It is sturdy and has a great sound. You can't beat the price for a real instrument! Instead of buying "made for kids" junk instruments at 3 times the price!
