Product Description
The kenkeni is the smallest drum in the djun-djun set. In a djembe orchestra, it is a vital part since it provides a tight rhythmic backbeat. It is a beautiful drum made out of a solid piece of African hardwood. Both heads are dried, untreated African cow skin and are tightened and tuned using the Mali weave. The authentic African designs and carvings are a wonderful symbol of African culture and art.
