The Cajun triangle is made of a special type of high tensile steel. The triangle is not used like the old dinner bell but as a percussion instrument to accompany music. The use of the triangle dates back to medieval Europe and old Africa. This triangle is made in the traditional Cajun manner fabricated from the tines of old horse-drawn hay rake.
