Awsome Drum Set for the priceI received this set for Christmas. I've been playing for over 30 years and this is the first decent drum set I have ever owned. There is 6 plys of birch or birch like wood with a blue metalic plastic coating for color. The set itself is sturdy with a rack support for the toms. The symbols are Paiste which for the price have good tone and vibration. The snare also has a good sound in comparison with the Slingerland concert snare I have that is incredible by itself. I had a stroke 4 years ago and I have difficulty playing with a left sided weakness, this set helps with the rehab and is helping me develop control with my left arm and leg. If you purchase this set enjoy it. I have played expensive sets, but why pay big for big sound when you can pay little and get big sound.

Good but READ THE STUFFThis drum set is awsome and affordable. It has a nice clean but deep sound, and works for any type of music. But since America now is scared of reading, It seems people are neglecting to notice that while the picture has cymbols, it has clearly printed it does not come with cymbals. 5 star though.
