Zildjian ZXT 2-Piece Expander Box Set

 Good addition to current cymbals
The Zildjan brand is a backup name for any percussion product you aquire.I am a studio musician in Mexico City and bought this expansion set to broaden my melodics in cymbal accentuation.
The Total China has a great sound, it does not prolong the acoustics as to provoke undesired feedback when all you want is the extra "punch" on your snare drum accent. I mount my china upside-down, but this cymbal is very picky as to where you hit it. If you hit it outside the upost circumference, the sound is quite deletable.
On the other hand, the Medium-Thin-Crash has almost no attack at all. I use it more as a muffled ride, although the bell of the cymbal is quite bright.
In a nutshell: A great add-up to your set if you are looking for more melodics, but be aware that these are Zildjian entry-level cymbals, so don`t expect them to sound like Carter Beauford`s cymbals.
Also, to the manufacturer, use a little bit less glue on the stickers you place on your cymbals, I had a hard time getting them off!!!
