Product Description
This contrabass bar is a new version of the traditional Orff-Schulwerk bars we carry. The bar is made of purple heartwood, a tropical hardwood similar to rosewood but less endangered. This bar sounds two octaves below "middle" A, in the same range as traditional Orff contrabass bars. Mallet sold separately - we suggest the Freenote Contra-Bass Bar Mallet.
