Product Description
Orff-Schulwerk style alto metallophone. The note name is stamped on the middle of each bar for easy reference and also to encourage children to play in the correct place (the middle of the bar). The note names are also stamped inside the resonating chamber to make it easy to put the bars in the correct positions. Flexible rubber pins help avoid bent or broken pins when the bars are removed and replaced. The resonator box has holes to store the mallets when not in use. The bar storage bag features soft cloth on the inside to cushion the bars and durable canvas on the outside, with a Velcro™ strap to securely close the bag; marked "Alto" on the outside for easy reference. Dimensions of resonator box are approximately 7.63" high x 28.5" long x 8.63" wide at the widest point; 4.88" wide at the narrowest point. With bars on, the widest point is 12.5" (the length of the low C bar).
