compulsory tools but WAY OVERPRICED!All the tools here are absolutely neccessary, but if you bought them seperately (including the case), it shouldn't run you over $10 maximum... to charge $30 is just rediculous!! Allen Keys are about $0.30 each, you can get some small Wire/String Cutters for $1.50 from any electronics hardware store, string winders are about $0.50... so please go out to any music/electronics shop and buy them seperately, and you'll probably pay less than 1/3 of what these people are asking - don't let them take your money for no reason!

This is a great gift!My husband is a guitar player and I wanted to get him a gift for his birthday, but because I don't play I didn't know what to get. The Gigmate was an easy gift - it didn't need to be a special model or color - it can be used by any guitarist no matter what type of instrument they play. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality and workmanship and my husband loved it. Although he plays at home, not on the road - it is one of his most prized possessions. He always knows where to find his tools and strings, no more digging through the junk drawer. I'm glad to see the gigmate is now listed on Amazon, when I bought it two years ago I had to go directly to their website. I give it 5 stars and think it is a great gift.
