displease on christmasthis stand is NOT designed for the Yamaha EZ-250i even though it is listed in the accessories for this model.
Does what its supposed to.My stand has not fallen apart yet. Its well crafted, but tricky to put together, but once you do it seems very sturdy.
Don't buy it for the Yamaha digital drum setFor the purpose for which I bought it, I give it zero stars and hope it is removed as a recommended accessory for the drum set. This stand was recommended for the Yamaha DD35AD Touch-Sensitive Digital Drums with Guide Lights and AC Adapter. I ordered both. As other reviewers noted, the lack of detailed instructions was very frustrating. The four 'feet', two legs, and small plastic bag containing an allen wrench, bolt, two washers, and a nut were in the box with the small paper containing 'instructions'. It took me over an hour to put the stand together - mainly because I could not locate the feet/leg screws. The screws to hold the 'feet' were actually screwed into the legs, a point not mentioned in the instructions. The bag with the bolt, two washers, allen wrench, and nut was, I believe, missing a washer as the stand wobbles. To adjust the height, you will need to pull out on the round handle on the legs once you get it all together. This may seem obvious to many, but it is not to a first time user of this type of stand. Once I finally got the stand assembled, I placed the drum set on top. The drum set would have fallen to the floor if the stand had not been next to the bed. Luckily the drum set fell on the bed instead. No matter how much I tried, the drum set would not sit on the stand. I'm debating whether or not to return the stand as I have an APO address and to received it, I had to have it mailed to a relative in the US who then mailed it to me as it would not ship directly. Maybe it's suitable for an electronic keyboard, or something that has a flat bottom, but not for the irregular shaped bottom of the drum set.
Excellent Portable Keyboard StandI love the stand although it would have been nice if it was already assembled. However, it was very easy to assemble. Very sturdy and reliable.

Excellent ValueThis stand is very sturdy, adjustable, and not so complicated to put together, although the instructions could have been more detailed. The double X frame is great for my 11yr old.
I paid less than I would of at a retail store.
Good Stand for the priceA good stand for the price, although a little hard to put together. Fits my ypt-200 perfectly, it looks a lot better on the stand than sitting on a bookcase.
good, cheap, easyFor the money, you can't go wrong. This thing is actually way sturdier than I expected, and seems like it'll last forever. Locks in a bunch of positions, and is rock solid. Amazon shipped it in a _gigantic_ box for some odd reason, but the shipping is free so who cares? Jam out, dude.
missing partsGreat product and fast shipping if we had the bolts, etc.. to put it together. My daughter was very dissapointed Christmas (that's right I said the "C" word) morning when she could not put the stand up with her bench and keyboard.
Nice Sturdy Stand for the PriceYou'll be happy with this stand, it is very solid and inexpensive. The connecting bolts are in the ends of the legs when it arrives. Comes with an allen wrench to assemble. It is definately better than the single X yamaha stand which is only 2 dollars less. Get this one.
Not what I expectedI got the Yamaha EZ 250i keyboard for Christmas and my wife bought the recommended stand, but it doesn't fit the way you would expect it to. The keyboard has recessed areas underneath that you would expect the stand to fit into. Not so with this "Yamaha PKBX2" unit. It is sturdy and cheap, but we would've paid more for a stand that actually fits into the keyboard.
If anyone figures out which stand is designed for the EZ 250i, please post.
