Mozart Magic Cube

 1 and 3 yr old love it!
I bought this toy for our daughter's first birthday. She loves it. She figured out how to change the tune quickly. Our 3 year old son also plays with it often. He's learned the different instruments and developed favorites. The cube is not annoying and the songs are soothing. Definetly an improvement over most loud and repetitive children's toys.

 1st Birthday Present
I purchased this for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. This was the gift that she took to bed with her that night! She just loved it. I just purchased another one for my grandson who is 8 months old because I couldn't wait until his 1st birthday to give him one!

 A Real Winner
I bought this toy for my daughter prior to age 1 and she loves it. She has definitely developed an appreciation for music from this toy and now those type of toys seem to be her very favorite. I agree about the volume control when they are young that would be a nice feature to have. I also think that changing the batteries can be cumbersome and you should plan on doing it when your child is napping.I have changed the batteries three times now so that should tell you how much my daughter loves this toy. I would say that it is probably her favorite toy. Although it is not inexpensive I feel that this toy is really worth it unlike other electronic toys that I have purchased

 A Fantastic Toy
Prior to having my own baby I gave this out numerous times as gifts. Each time it was a hit. When I had my daughter, one of the mothers of the children I gave it to bought one for us. It is great for regular playtime as well as quiet time. It is a little loud, but not terribly so. It would be nice if instead of an on/off switch it was a volume control to lower it just a touch. I keep it in my daughter's crib and she likes to lay and play with it until she falls asleep. It's nice because I know when the music stops for more than a minute she's off in the land of nod. We received 8 months. Hayley is now 15 months and it is still favorite. Also, batteries last a long time. We just changed them yesterday for the first time.

 A Fun Toy for the whole family
Well, we bought this for our son's first birthday, and it really is a fun toy. I agree with some of the other reviewers that some of the intonation can be little off, especially on the first song. I'm not sure how good of a baby toy this is though. What I mean, is that my one year old really isn't in the least bit interested in it. He'll just crawl away and look for something else. So, why the four stars? Because the rest of my kids love it!! The 3 and 4 year old really enjoy it, as well as the 6,7, and 10 year olds. Even I've played with it some. So, I do think that it is a fun product, but maybe more for those a little older.

UPDATE: Well, I guess I reviewed too soon. My one year old has now discovered the cube!! He pushes the buttons(they are very easy to set going), and then sits and bounces and shakes his head around to the music. Very cute. So, this a great family toy--fun for all ages.

 A good toy
The cube is easy to use, just press a button. Our son likes it well enough at 7 months though it's not his only toy right now. It is nice as a parent to be able to hear mozart rather than tyhe noises many other toys emit. Also, the ability to add and remove instruments is quite interesting and even a little bit of fun for dad!

 A great baby toy!
Bought this for my oldest child when she was a few months old. She wasn't interested in it right away (I had more fun playing with it than she did) but around 18 mos. it caught her interest. It's endlessly durable and the music quality is good. One bad thing is there is no volume control, just off and on. Also, it plays about 10 different melodies but doesn't always cycle through depending on which musical instrument you press. When operated by a toddler, you tend to hear the first song over and over and over and over.... The best part is that older kids can enjoy it too. Now that she's 4, my daughter can still have fun playing with it, changing and adding instruments to get different sounds. Definitely recommended!

 A great musical toy
My son got this toy as a present when he was an infant and we've been using it ever since. The music and flashing lights are interesting to babies. Now that he is almost 2, he can manipulate the sounds himself and he plays with it for long periods of time. The instruments can be subtracted out or added back in, or the whole orchestra can play together. There are many pieces to choose from. Classical music is very pleasant to listen to - especially if your child likes the toy like mine does - you'll be hearing the same songs over and over and it won't drive you crazy. The only thing we don't like about the toy is the sound is a little on the loud side with no way to turn down the volume.

 A must buy!
My son has played with this toy nonstop. He is now 16 months old and it is one of the first things he reaches for when he wakes up. When we travel I have make sure its packed. Some kids have blankets, mine has the music cube.

 A must have if your child likes music
I bought this for my daughter's 1st b-day after reading the reviews and she LOVES it. My 3-yr old son likes it also. It took her no time to figure out how to push the buttons to make her own "music", and she dances all the time. It has been dropped and has worked with no problems. I have not encountered any problems with the battery cover. Shop/surf around for the best price. I would definitely recommend this toy.
