Man is it hard to find decent sounding wireless outdoor speakers. These sound pretty good. Not great mind you. But pretty good. The trick is getting them to consistently work. Sometimes it takes 5 or 6 tries to get them to work even after I get the two parts to communicate. The directions say to avoid putting the transmitter directly behind or near your TV. That's a bit hard when your TV is in a rack with all your other stereo gear. Also, if you have to use your variable audio out on your TV as a source, if you're wanting to listen to Music Choice or something off the satellite, it's kind of a pain since the levels from the variable out don't match all the other audio levels from everything else. As I said, this takes some tweaking and every time you use it. It's not like just dialing it in and there you have it. That's why I rate it a 3. It sounds pretty good, not wired speaker quality of course, but not BAD like the ones I heard at Sharper Image.

I bought the extra speaker too but haven't had a chance to set it up yet. More on that later.

 Power switch problems
I purchased and returned a pair of these speakers. Worked great until I disconnected the AC power supply and the power switches would no longer power the units up using either AC or battery power.

I never did receive the transmitter for this product although it pictures one in the ad. I sent it back and when I received the replacement it still didn't include a transmitter. Shipping was very fast though!
