Good for practice, not much else. This amplifier was my first one, as it was relatively cheap, small, and (I hoped), would just be a basic amplifier without too many knobs for me to set incorrectly. As far all that, this is a fine small amplifier suitable for practicing quietly, definitely in no way show/gig material. The only beef I have with this amp is that upon being turned off with the guitar cable in the input jack, a small chirp is heard. I'm not sure if it's an indication of low quality or if it's supposed to do it, but it is a bit annoying. Okay for the money, if you're just getting into guitar and don't know if you want to make a larger investment, this is the way to go. If you're a practiced musician, you've heard way better and should shell out the extra bucks for a higher-quality unit.
Not that badThis is quit a small amp, mainly for Bass Guitar use is best, it packs quite a punch in fact, as far as gigs go, it is not intirrly useless as the other reveiwer may think, ive used it in small gigs (bars) it is usefull in any small room even, if the knobs are turned the right way u can get different tones and qualities that are sutible for different songs, i say Beggineer? buy it, mediocar? buy it
